Weekend removals in Glastonbury are most of what I do for working customers — Saturday especially. Same rates as weekdays, no weekend surcharge. Sunday slots are real but limited; book a couple of weeks ahead if the date matters. Glastonbury runs are forty minutes from Nailsea — I batch with other Somerset work where I can.

Why weekend slots fill early

Most rental tenancies end on a weekday but tenants want to move on a weekend; most sales complete on a Friday and people want Saturday to settle in. The result: my Saturday diary is usually the first to book solid, two or three weeks ahead. Sunday is easier, midweek is easiest.

Parking and access on weekends

Most of the town is fine for a long-wheelbase van; the older lanes around Chilkwell Street are tight and worth flagging when you book. Weekend parking is often easier than weekdays in commercial areas, harder around residential streets near pubs and town centres. I’ll factor it into the quote either way.
