What’s the difference between rubbish clearance and house clearance?

Rubbish clearance is usually a single type of waste — garden waste, a shed full of rubble, a bulk bag of builder’s offcuts. House clearance is a larger, mixed job: sorting and removing the contents of a whole room, flat or property, typical for end-of-tenancy, probate or downsizing.

Weekend removals in Clevedon are most of what I do for working customers — Saturday especially. Same rates as weekdays, no weekend surcharge. Sunday slots are real but limited; book a couple of weeks ahead if the date matters. Clevedon is ten minutes from my yard so I can usually do short-notice moves here.

Why weekend slots fill early

Most rental tenancies end on a weekday but tenants want to move on a weekend; most sales complete on a Friday and people want Saturday to settle in. The result: my Saturday diary is usually the first to book solid, two or three weeks ahead. Sunday is easier, midweek is easiest.

Parking and access on weekends

The hill streets above the front are steep and parked both sides — sometimes a quick walk-down to check the route saves an hour on the day. Weekend parking is often easier than weekdays in commercial areas, harder around residential streets near pubs and town centres. I’ll factor it into the quote either way.
