Why weekend slots fill early

Most rental tenancies end on a weekday but tenants want to move on a weekend; most sales complete on a Friday and people want Saturday to settle in. The result: my Saturday diary is usually the first to book solid, two or three weeks ahead. Sunday is easier, midweek is easiest.

Parking and access on weekends

Town-centre on-street parking fills by 9am; Hinkley short-term lets are flexible on collection slots if you give a couple of days notice. Weekend parking is often easier than weekdays in commercial areas, harder around residential streets near pubs and town centres. I’ll factor it into the quote either way.
