About this service
What trampoline removal bristol actually looks like.
Trampolines are long-serving, and most Bristol gardens have one that’s done its time. Taking it down is straightforward once you know the order: enclosure poles and net first, then safety pads, then the mat (off the springs one side at a time), then the frame itself. I bring a cordless drill, spring tool and a trolley. Per-item pricing, quoted on the phone from the size, confirmed on arrival. No VAT, no call-out fee.
Net and pads first
Safety nets come off the enclosure poles by unhooking the top and sliding them down. Foam pads around the springs usually lift off without tools. Once both are off, the mat is exposed and the springs are visible — which is the point at which a spring tool is essential, because unhooking springs by hand tears up your palms fast.
Springs, mat, frame
Springs come off the mat side first (lower tension), then the frame. A 14-foot trampoline has around 96 springs; a 12-footer around 72. They bag up for recycling as mixed metal. Frame poles then unscrew (or, if the bolts are rusted solid, come apart with a cut). The whole dismantle takes under an hour on a typical domestic unit.

About us
Checkatrade — 9.8/10 · 164 ReviewsBristol Local Van Man — removals and clearance in Bristol.
Bristol Local Van Man is run by Nigel, a Nailsea-based owner-operator with 15+ years in removals and clearance across Bristol, Bath and the wider South West. We handle removals, rubbish clearance, house clearance and office clearance under one roof.
Most jobs are done by Nigel direct. Busy weeks and larger jobs bring in trusted local drivers Nigel has worked with for years — every one carries the same waste-carrier paperwork and works to the same fixed-price standard.
Waste is carried away under our UK registered waste carrier licence (CBDU445737), so items taken off your property go to a licensed facility rather than a side street.

Frequently asked
Trampoline Removal Bristol— common questions.
How much does trampoline removal in Bristol cost?
Per-item pricing quoted on the phone from the trampoline size (8’/10’/12’/14’). Confirmed on arrival.
Do I need to take it apart first?
No — I dismantle on the day. That’s usually the bit people don’t want to do.
What if the bolts are seized?
Common on anything that’s been out three winters. I’ll cut through the frame where it’s quicker — the metal still scraps either way.
